Sometimes we seek out stillness... sometimes stillness drops upon us without invitation.
We may go through a time of stillness for so many reasons.
Learning to welcome it no matter the source, a true endeavor for us as humans.
In my times of quiet and stillness, watching animals is a form of meditation. Observing their activities, punctuated by stillness as they listen for prey, or as prey. I think of the battle they constantly wage, for food, for shelter, for life. And yet they often seem to be carefree and so accepting of their world. Maybe they are sharing a life lesson...
May you find peace and knowledge in stillness, whenever it may come.
