Message: The Golden Cloak of Autumn

I watch the incredible number of squirrels & chipmunks dashing in and out of the woods, readying their winter supply of food. The woodchucks are getting fluffier and rounder as they race in and out of their burrows. And still, I have bluejays, chickadees, titmouses, cardinals, cat birds dancing on the abundant trees and branches surrounding me.

Autumn brings on the cool winds, the golds and reds of leaves, a quieting down as the days shorten. We can use this as a time to seek out inner peace with the full days of summer behind us. Something in the cool and early dark slows down the soul. May this season bring you time for reflection, gratitude, and new energy on the horizon. May it bring healing to those in need everywhere.

"Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall." F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

"Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower."

Albert Camus
