Scripture: "Praise the Lord from the earth, you great sea creatures and all deeps, fire and hail, snow and mist, stormy wind fulfilling his word! Psalm 148:7-8

The Winter Solstice descends on us and passes just before Christmas. Although I’m late in acknowledging this year, it feels worth
celebrating in our world of uncertainty.
With each ever-changing sunrise and sunset, we move into longer, warmer days. There is a wildness yet a reassuring rhythm to this magic of nature. Perhaps something to contemplate during this midwinter.
“In the midst of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer.”
Albert Camus
“They who sing through the summer must dance in the winter.”
Italian Proverb
