Message: Illuminate the Light Within
On a frosty and brilliant morning, the church was filled with bustling members and friends, preparing and counting down to the magical hour of 9 AM. The opening of our Fair.
As always, the queue outside was long and comprised of community friends and friendly strangers, eager to see what treasures and culinary treats await.
As the door opened, the halls were filled with these souls. All the fatigue and exhaustion of our workers was temporarily quelled by the electric sights and sounds of friends, of community. There was conversation in every corner ~ welcoming, listening, bartering, selling, laughing, crying, connecting. The sounds of life.
The fair is just the beginning.
In this season of light, and as we move into a new year, may we share hope and light with all.
Here's to illuminating the light within and letting it radiate for others beyond our walls.
